New Music Releases - 2011 Calendar

If you want to check out the best new music releases of 2011, you’ve come to the right place. We have the list of confirmed 2011 releases, as well as those albums currently without official release dates.

Among the high-profile acts expected to offer new material in 2011 are Lady Gaga, whose ‘Born This Way’ is one of the most anticipated albums of the year, and U2, who plan to release ‘Songs of Ascent.’ Radiohead, Coldplay and Justin Timberlake are all recording albums that could see releases in 2011 as well.

The Decemberists head the list of big releases early in the year. The Portland rock band drops ‘The King is Dead’ on Jan. 18. Feb. 1 sees the release of ‘Rolling Blackouts,’ the first new album by exuberant British pop group The Go! Team in four years, while Best New Artist Grammy winner Adele unveils ’21' on Feb. 22. For hip-hop fans, both Pitbull and Lupe Fiasco have early 2011 releases.

After the jump, check out the full list of 2011 new music releases, updated each month as additional release dates are announced.
