Porcelain Raft - The Way Out Lyrics with Official Video

  • "The Way Out" is a song by Italian musician Mauro Remiddi AKA Porcelain Raft, off his upcoming album "Permanent Signal" coming August 20, 2013. Remiddi had this to say about the song:

I was walking home [in New York during Hurricane Sandy], keeping my head down because of the rain. I noticed on the sidewalk that all of the trees had their roots growing throughout the pavement. Nature couldn’t be held back by cement. I started to notice mold on the walls of buildings and the stains it created, and realized it didn’t matter how many times we paint the walls white, nature will always stain them again, and the stain will grow bigger with time. The vision of it makes you surrender.

Lost in heaven try to make upon
New York shut down tonight it's all my fault
Where do we go from here?
    Tonight it feels so real

And we're here all waiting to be found
A giant seashell has left the ground
Where do we go from here?
    Tonight it feels so real

Trees are growing through the pavement breaking the ground
Nature will always find a way out, way out, way out

Is it all the reason here for you
Not to stay that's all I know
Where do we go from here?
    Tonight it feels so real

All the things to change the cage we are in now
The vision that is waiting to be found, be found, be found

Trees are growing through the pavement breaking the ground
Nature will always find a way out, way out, way out
